September 2013 Big Bear Real Estate Statistics/What’s Up at 7000ft
Hi folks!
Below are the monthly Big Bear real estate stats for September 2013. The largest increases in average sales price were in Big Bear City and Moonridge. The average $/sqft dropped a bit in Big Bear Lake-general; but this was due in large part to one over-sized property that sold for only $295K (the MLS had it listed at 4000+sqft; but according tax rolls, less than 2000sqft of that was permitted; so it throws off the statistics quite a bit).
Area | Total Sales | Avg. Sale | Avg. $/sqft | SP/LP | DOM |
BBC | 32 | $201,455 | $139.86 | 97% | 99 |
BBL-general | 12 | $313,483 | $176.05 | 95% | 82 |
BBL-lakeview | 7 | $440,285 | $224.86 | 97% | 92 |
BBL-lakefront | 0 | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A |
FAWN | 8 | $212,250 | $188.94 | 95% | 50 |
FOX | 8 | $396,112 | $210.92 | 96% | 102 |
MOON | 21 | $286,423 | $199.39 | 97% | 94 |
SUGA | 17 | $126,758 | $136.43 | 96% | 73 |
Below is this week’s “What’s Up at 7000ft”. Highlights this weekend include the second-to-last weekend of Oktoberfest, the Flashlight Safari at the Zoo, and the “Panic in the Park” haunted house at Meadow Park.
Have a great weekend!
