Below are the monthly lists of “sold” and “pending/back-up only” Big Bear real estate.  Numbers continue to be strong, especially for the typically slow month of May.  As of this morning, we are up to 556 single family residences for sale in the Big Bear valley.  That puts us around a healthy 6-month supply and gives quite a few more choices for buyers when compared to our low of only about 400 properties in the winter.

Our official beginning of summer, 4th of July, is rapidly approaching and tables are going on sale again for the fireworks show on the beach at the Boatside Tavern (formerly B’s Boathouse).  As those of you know who have joined us in the past, this is the best place to watch the spectacular fireworks show that Big Bear Lake puts on every year, if you’re not on a boat.  The Boathouse offers food, drinks, and even a sand volleyball court!  Tables typically come in 6- or 8-person sizes and include admission.  According to the owner, the price is $25/person this year.  We may have a few seats left at our 8-person table (so let us know asap): but if you need your own table, just shoot me a text and I’ll send you the cell number for the person setting up the reservations.
