March 2012 Big Bear Real Estate Stats
Hi folks,
It’s snowing again in Big Bear, so it looks like this might not be closing weekend for Snow Summit after all. We’ll have to see how much we get in total. In the meantime, below are the monthly sales stats for the month of March. There was lots of activity in Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Moonridge, and Sugarloaf and increases in $/sqft in almost all of the areas that we track.
Area | #Sales | Avg. Sale | Avg. $/sqft | SP/LP | DOM |
BBC | 27 | $198,138 | $119.71 | 96% | 92 |
BBL-general | 11 | $261,454 | $148.06 | 94% | 268 |
BBL-lakeview | 5 | $367,825 | $166.97 | 94% | 86 |
BBL-lakefront | 1 | $1,200,000 | $385.85 | 96% | 82 |
FAWN | 1 | $179,900 | $199.89 | 100% | 170 |
FOX | 3 | $616,666 | $178.09 | 89% | 321 |
MOON | 19 | $218,247 | $161.72 | 96% | 93 |
SUGA | 17 | $114,773 | $103.66 | 94% | 142 |
Below is a link to this weekend’s “What’s Up at 7000ft”. I’m not sure how many of these events will get snowed out, but they are also having two night sessions for the snow play area at Alpine Slide which should be perfect!
Have a great weekend!
