The snowstorms over the last 2 weeks have really pumped up the base at our local resorts and we’re seeing some of the best conditions of the season!  Below are the lists of “sold” and “pending/back-up” Big Bear properties for February.  The number of sales stayed strong for such a short month and the number in escrow is almost up to 200!  That brings us to a current single-family residence inventory of only 406 properties.

In case you didn’t hear, the Mammoth purchase was finalized this week.  So stay tuned for all of the improvements that are expected to come along with that, including the plans to add new ski and snowboard runs between the existing resorts.  I also attended the Planning Commission’s meeting for the Rathbun creek project in Moonridge about two weeks ago and the improvements in that area, both for the hiking/biking/equestrian trails and commercial improvements/beautification (especially along Moonridge Road) are very exciting!
