February 2012 Big Bear Real Estate Stats
Below are the monthly real estate sales stats on single family residences for the month of February. As I mentioned in the previous posting, there were 6 lakefront properties that sold last month in Big Bear Lake! These properties varied from shallow- to deep-water (deep-water is always more expensive, of course); but the average sales price was almost $1.5 Million! On the other end of our scale, the average sales price in Sugarloaf was only around $102K, so there really is something for everyone in the Big Bear Valley. The average $/sqft in Big Bear City dropped quite a bit, but that was mostly because there were a couple of serious fixers that finally closed escrow.
