Hi all,

It’s a little early for the monthly sold and pending properties lists (the MLS gives agents 72 hours to change the status) and some take longer than that; but looking at the foreclosure (REO) properties this morning, there are only  are only 6 left in the Big Bear Lake (92315) zip code!!  We’re even starting to see multiple offers on regular resales, such as the great deal on Mockingbird that came on the market this week.  I’m still working on my “How to Get a Great Deal on a Bank-owned Property” article; but as the number of foreclosures dwindles, the main (and most important factor) is SPEED. To get a great deal, you need to act fast.  As my wife would say, “if you want to pay retail, you can take your time; but if you want a great deal, you need to hurry”.
