It’s time already for the monthly lists of sold and pending/contingent properties for the last month.   The number of “sold” properties increased by 20% over the last 2 months!   This included 4 lakefront properties, as well.   The summer buying season seems to be extending further into fall this year than usual and the winter buying season is just around the corner (they’ve actually predicted 1-2 inches of snow for us tonight)!   With the average escrow taking at least 45 days when a loan is involved, this week is pretty much the last chance to get a property in escrow in order to have it ready to be rented for the start of the winter season on Thanksgiving weekend!

We’re still getting caught up from our extended trip to Chicago for my brother’s wedding and a very busy past week; but I’ll try to get around to figuring out the sales stats before this weekend.
