Below are the monthly lists of sold and pending/contingent properties for the month of August.   The number of sales held steady at 75, while the number of pending/contingent properties increased by 10%.   These lists  demonstrate what I have mentioned in the past about summer being the big selling season for lakefronts (3 sold last month and 9 more were pending/contingent)!   We have about 1-2 more months of strong selling season for lakefronts, then everyone starts to turn their attention towards properties close to the ski slopes.
