Last week’s storm only brought a few inches of new snow; but temps have remained below normal since the end of last week (30’s during the day and teens at night); so both Bear Mtn and Snow Summit have had plenty of time to make lots of snow and both resorts are in great shape!
Below are last month’s lists of “sold” and”pending/back-up” Big Bear properties. As of this morning, the inventory of Big Bear-area single-family homes for sale in our MLS has dropped even further to only 349 total (and only 131 of those are in the actual Big Bear Lake zip code, 92315). Given the current rate of sales, this is just under a 4.5 month supply! As anyone who has taken an introductory Economics class can tell you, prices are a function of supply and demand; so if supply continues to drop and demand stays strong, prices will be expected to continue to rise.
