November 2012 Big Bear Real Estate Statistics

Hi folks,
We got about half a foot of snow from the storm yesterday and there are two or three more systems expected to make their way up here in the next week, so it looks like we’ll be a Winter Wonderland for Christmas after all!  Here’s a link to some pics after our most recent storm.  If you look really close at the 3rd pic, you can see a “friendly neighborhood coyote” playing in his winter coat:
Below are the monthly single family sales stats for November.  As you can see, once again we had month-over-month increases in both average sales price and average $/sqft in the majority of areas that we track.  Also, as usually happens this time of year, the number of sales close to the slopes increases and the number of sales on the Lake decreases; so if you’re looking for a Lakefront, now is definitely the time of year!
