Big Bear May 2011 Sales Stats

   

Below are the monthly sales stats for the month of May.   Sorry it’s a little late this month, but our new home is finally finished; and along with the beginning of the summer buying season, we’ve been busy getting it ready to move in!   As you can see from the stats, the average sales price is up for Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Fox Farm, and Lakefronts (both Big Bear Lake and Fawnskin).   In addition, the average $/sqft is up considerably for the same areas.   I’ve also added a new statistic this month, SP/LP, which is the ratio of sales price to list price.   As you can see, most homes are selling within 5-10% of the list price.

Lastly, the 330 is finally re-opening this weekend (more than 6 months ahead of the originial schedule), so we should be in great shape for all those tourists and weekenders for the official start of Summer!
