Big Bear Dec. 2010 “sold” and “pending/contingent” property lists‏

I hope everyone is having a great new year so far!   I got up to Bear Mtn for a couple of hours today and (after another 8 or so inches of snow last night) it was the best powder day I can remember, so things in Big Bear are definitely off to a great start!   We also have the lists of sold and pending/contingent properties for Dec. today and it looks like the year ended on a great note as well.   The number of “sold” properties was up another 7.5% from the previous month (which was already up 20% from the month before that)!   It looks like the contingent properties (especially the “active contingent” category, which is reserved for short sales) are finally converting to “solds” at a faster pace.
