Below are the monthly single family residence sales stats for the month of August. As you can see, even when we factor out lakefronts, there were considerable increases in $/sqft for all areas that we track except for Sugarloaf. In fact, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Moonridge, and Fawnskin all increased 10% or more from the previous month. According to Trulia (popular real estate web-site), the Big Bear Lake zip code (92315), which includes all of Big Bear Lake, most of Fox Farm, and parts of Moonridge is up 2.2% in median sales price and 32.4% in $/sqft from last year!
